We are pleased to present the 103rd issue of the monthly Congo Challenge (November 2025), an edition marked by more pronounced disinflation, stabilisation of the Congolese franc, and major political advances, notably with the signing of peace agreements.

• In this issue, we look back at the highlights of the month :
• The continued momentum of disinflation, with an annual rate falling to 2.19%, well below the BCC's target; The appreciation of the Congolese franc and the stabilisation of foreign exchange reserves, against a backdrop of falling international commodity prices;
• Political progress: the signing of the Doha Agreement between the Government and the M23-AFC, elections to the Bureau of the National Assembly and the assumption of the presidency of the ICGLR;
• Key developments in global trade and commodities, notably the rise in gold and copper prices and persistent pressure on the cobalt market;
• National economic challenges: increased trade openness with the United Kingdom, structural tax reform on country-by-country reporting, and vulnerabilities in the mining sector linked to insecurity in the east.
