  • On the international front, the divergence in growth perspectives between various global regions hinders a return to pre-pandemic global production trends. However, recent forecasts from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) anticipate a cooling of global economic growth, declining from 3.5% in 2022 to 3% in 2023, and reaching 2.9% in 2024. This decrease in growth is attributed to several factors. First, global economic policies have tightened, meaning that monetary authorities have had to adopt measures to curb economic activity and control inflation.
  • Regarding inflation, it is expected to decrease due to easing global supply pressures. According to the IMF, global inflation is projected to gradually slow down, dropping from 8.7% in 2022 to 6.9% in 2023, and then to 5.8% in 2024.
