On the international front, the divergence in growth prospects among various global regions hinders a return to pre-pandemic production trends. However, recent forecasts from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) project a cooling of global economic growth, declining from 3.5% in 2022 to 3% in 2023, and reaching 2.9% in 2024. This decrease in growth is attributed to several factors. Firstly, global economic policies have tightened, requiring monetary authorities to implement measures to curb economic activity and control inflation.

Regarding inflation, it is expected to decrease due to easing global supply pressures. According to the IMF, global inflation is projected to gradually slow down, falling from 8.7% in 2022 to 6.9% in 2023, and then to 5.8% in 2024. This deceleration is largely attributed to the tightening monetary policy measures implemented by monetary authorities.
